Face-Off L
Men's Lacrosse|Half-Field
This is what Falmouth runs in there fast break. There whole goal is to create a box to spread the three defenseman out quickly with a lot of looks just from one sprint down the field. The Attack Men who goes up high meeting the face-off guy high in the restraining box is there as an outlet because that’s where the first defense slide will come from. If there’s no slide or just a look I can take it to the hole, dish it off to one of the lowk attack men, rip a shot, but most likely just get a touch bring it back and be in yellow. This is something I would like to try and could be beneficial I hope

2-3-1 Cycle, The point of this is to attack the two SSDMS on the field in a 6v6. This utilizes the use of a two man game while looking for off-ball openings. This creates counters to the slides made by the defense and also gives every offensive player a chance to score or have possession of the ball.

D: Shade and Set the Edge

O cannot enter the dead area (cones in front). D works to take away topside, focus on when to check and when to drive/push to decrease shooting angle.

This is a drill I've done in previous seasons. It's a good uneven drill.

Men's Lacrosse|Drill
Shooting drill that simulates the actions of pass-down, pick-down 2-man game. Start with a line with the balls located top-center-right and another line on the right wing. Mirror this setup on the left side. The top line will pass down to the wing, get depth and return to set a screen. Meanwhile, the wing man will ‘drift’ to get into a good dodging location to work from the screen. In the UNDER variation, the dodger works under the pick and finishes with a shot down the alley.

3-2-1 Drill
Men's Lacrosse|Drill
Coach sets up three lines at GLE. The coach rolls a ground ball to one of the players, who scoops and begins the drill. The other two players get set and communicate their positions. The ball is passed twice—first to the top, then to a wing—while everyone continues communicating. After the second pass, the player receiving the ball takes a shot on goal.

This is out of a basic 1-3-2 set or 13. The dodge can come from either alley with the principles being the same on each side. The near side attatckman clears through to the crease and gets out of the dodgers way. The other two attackman rotate into the ball. The top middie follows the dodger, while the crease M pops out the back side.
