Used to defend a 2-3-1. Our SSDM will lock off the crease and the 4 poles will rotate around the outside.

Simple defensive skill drill working off-ball positioning and on-ball approaches. Bring 4 players, 2 will be on offense, 2 on defense. The 2 offensive players will be 20-yards apart, with a cone or mid-line dividing them. The defensive players will set up on-ball and at the mid-point in an open position to see man and ball. The offensive players will play catch, while the defensive players will alternate with good on-ball approaches and off-ball fills. The defensive players should work on picking passes while working their approach.

2 man gb game. man behind guy rolls ball out, both run out. First guy scoops up ground ball and second guy peels off to be outlet for First guy.

This play is designed to take advantage of an ISO with a SSDM or a slow pole.

5 vs 5. Coach throws ball out to one side. The player opposite of the ball carrier has to run around ball carriers cone as a trailer. Starts off as 5 vs 4. After a goal or turnover it becomes a 5 vs 5 the other way.

This drill can be done with groups of 4 or 3 as well.

The play is designed to rotate offense through the zone in order to create the open player for the drop down shot.

Simple offensive play for my 12u kids but this is run all the way up to the pro level.
