TERMINOLOGY-
DOG: Close defender stepping over the midline

HAWK: LSM coming out of the sub box watching over the middle of the field

TURN: Force the clearing team to roll back to the middle of the field (where the hawk and dog are)

JUMP: Send a second defender on ball to double

BACK: The ball has flipped sides of the field and we need you onside

NAVY: Attackman coming off the field to substitute an SSDM through the midline

1st pattern has M3 drive the alley. The other 5 players are to complete there responsibilities at full speed.

This a drill that I've used in previous season. It's a good uneven drill.

Battleship is an evolution in-game scenario drill that can be used within the men's or women's game. The drill emphasizes constantly offensive on-ball and off-ball movement, quick defensive rotations and applied pressures, communication amongst both parties, and proper reading and reacting ideals.

Clearing Play for Potential Long Passing. Attack comes past midline as LSM moves toward box. Middies cut restraining line drawing opp middies with them freeing up space for attack crossing midline.

Shooting drill that simulates the actions of pass-down, pick-down 2-man game. Start with a line with the balls located top-center-right and another line on the right wing. Mirror this setup on the left side. The top line will pass down to the wing, get depth and return to set a screen. Meanwhile, the wing man will ‘drift’ to get into a good dodging location to work from the screen. In this variation, the dodger works under the pick and feeds the picker who is rolling to the middle who finishes with a shot.
