Men's Lacrosse|Half-Field
Primary Formation: 1-4-1 (One top, four across the middle, one behind).
Phase 1: The Setup
Alignment: The four middle players form a horizontal line across the field.Personnel: This formation places a heavy concentration of players in the "belly" of the defense to create a screen-heavy environment.Phase 2: The Initiation (The "Slam")
The Trigger: The top player initiates a dodge directly toward the goal. The Physical Action: As the dodger moves, the middle players "slam" into their defenders. The Interaction: These middle players may also set picks for each other, creating a chaotic "Belly" of movement that is difficult for defenders to track.Phase 3: The Goal
The Opening: The slamming/screening action typically results in a wide-open cutter breaking right in front of the crease. The Scoring Chance: The goal is to use physical positioning and screens to create a high-percentage interior scoring chance.

Men's Lacrosse|Drill
Shooting drill that simulates the actions of pass-down, pick-down 2-man game. Start with a line with the balls located top-center-right and another line on the right wing. Mirror this setup on the left side. The top line will pass down to the wing, get depth and return to set a screen. Meanwhile, the wing man will ‘drift’ to get into a good dodging location to work from the screen. In the UNDER variation, the dodger works under the pick and finishes with a shot down the alley.

Men's Lacrosse|Drill
This is a full field clearing drill that works on outlets from Goalies, rollbacks when "pressured" from above, across field redirects, pushing upfield with a guy in front "Headman guy", finding the wing attackman after the clear, and pushing through X. It also helps one Goalie work on long pass clears from behind the goal/GLE to a breaking out player.
Players rotate to the line they threw too (except goalie line).
Players get to work on both hands catching and throwing.

O: Separate & Square
D: Shade and Set the Edge
O cannot enter the dead area (cones in front). D works to take away topside, focus on when to check and when to drive/push to decrease shooting angle.

Done on both sides to get double the participation rate. The first part will show if there is a break off the shot. The second part is the goalie rolls back. The coaches tell the middies to "stay" or "go" to determine if a break occurs. You get two sides going at once.
