Men's Lacrosse|Half-Field
Primary Formation: 1-4-1 (One top, four across the middle, one behind).
Phase 1: The Setup
Alignment: The four middle players form a horizontal line across the field.Personnel: This formation places a heavy concentration of players in the "belly" of the defense to create a screen-heavy environment.Phase 2: The Initiation (The "Slam")
The Trigger: The top player initiates a dodge directly toward the goal. The Physical Action: As the dodger moves, the middle players "slam" into their defenders. The Interaction: These middle players may also set picks for each other, creating a chaotic "Belly" of movement that is difficult for defenders to track.Phase 3: The Goal
The Opening: The slamming/screening action typically results in a wide-open cutter breaking right in front of the crease. The Scoring Chance: The goal is to use physical positioning and screens to create a high-percentage interior scoring chance.

Men's Lacrosse|Drill
A shooting drill that allows players to get moving from the point of dropping a ball, recovering a groundball, and making a quick pass to shoot. Easy drill to build off of and become more and more complicated.

West Genny drill is a fun, up-tempo drill to get your entire team involved. Shorten the field with goals about 40 yards apart. Evenly divide your roster into two teams with 3 lines at each goal line. One line on each team will have the ball. The drill is continuously played until a score is reach, e.g. first team to 11.

This is a play to get our offense moving once we’ve gotten settled.
Call out Spin 2. Everyone echos back the play.
The ball is passed around the outside of the box.
Every 2nd pass the first person to pass makes a cut across the middle.
When the player cuts, the next player (opposite the direction of the passing) moves into his spot and the next player into the next open spot until there is an open spot for the cutter to go into.
The player with the ball can continue the passing around or feed the cutter.
The format continues every 2 passes.
Note: Passing can be in either direction.
